🎉 Volunteers Needed – Thatcham Family Fun Day 🎉

We’re nearly there with preparations for Thatcham’s Family Fun Day… but we could really do with a few extra pairs of hands!

If you’re able to help, we’re particularly looking for support with:

✅ Event set-up
✅ Pack down at the end of the day
✅ Helping with parking

It’s a fantastic way to get involved in the community and be part of a really special day for Thatcham 😊

If you can spare some time, we’d love to hear from you! Please email - [email protected]

Thatcham was proud to host a truly special Freedom of the Town Parade on 4th June, celebrating the service of 67 Military Intelligence Company.
Troops were inspected by Mayor Cllr Mark Lillycrop, Deputy Lieutenant Richard Anderson, and Lieutenant Col Robert Feeney, before marching through the town in full ceremonial style — colours flying, band playing, drums beating — alongside the Band of the Coldstream Guards and the Royal British Legion.

Residents lined the streets to show their support, highlighting the strong bond between Thatcham and the Company, built over the past five years through community engagement and remembrance events.

A big thank you to Thames Valley Police, Thatcham & District Rotary Club, and the Thatcham Women’s Institute for helping make the day such a success.
