In September there are variety of road closure which may affect your journey when travelling in and around Thame. These road closures include:
Wentworth Road:
On Friday 11 September from 8am – Tuesday 15 September until 4pm, a road closure will be implemented to carry out micro surfacing works on Wentworth Road and Fairfax Close. The barrier will be opened for resident vehicles. This is a 24 hour daily road closure.
Fleetwood Way:
On Monday 14 September from 8am – Friday 18 September until 4pm, a road closure will be implemented to carry out micro surfacing works on Fleetwood Way. This is a 24 hour daily road closure.
Milton Common, A40 London Road:
On Monday 21 September from 7am – Tuesday 22 September until 7pm, a road closure and diversion route will be implemented to carry out carriageway resurfacing remedial works. The works will be carried out on A40 London Road, Milton Common between A329 Junction and access road to Lobb Farm. This is a 24 hour daily road closure.
Thame Road, B4445 Chinnor:
On Monday 21 September from 7am – Thursday 8 October until 6:30pm, a road closure and diversion route will be implemented to carry out surfacing, drainage and associated works. The road closure will be from junction of B4445 and Chinnor Road until 300m southbound. This is a 24 hour daily road closure.
September Street Fair:
On Wednesday 16 September from 4pm – Sunday 20 September until midday, a road closure and diversion route will be implemented for the return of the September Street fair on Thame High Street, Cornmarket, Butter Market and Upper High Street.
