Discrimination against LGBTQ+ people is still far too commonplace in the UK - particularly against the trans community.

LGBTQ+ rights mustn’t be taken for granted. The fight for equality must go on.

We will be the rallying point for all those who believe in building things up, not burning them down.

We will be the positive change millions of people are crying out for, fed up with Labour and the Conservatives but horrified by the rise of Reform.

The Liberal Democrats are on a record-breaking winning streak, heading for an historic eighth consecutive set of local election gains and on track to beat Labour and the Conservatives once again.

We’ve recorded stonking results in Stockport and Portsmouth, taking control of both councils and beating Reform. Many of our best results are still to come in places like Surrey, Sussex, Huntingdonshire, and Southwark.

While those on the populist extremes of left and right just want to pitch groups against each other, Liberal Democrats have a plan to fix what’s broken and bring our country together.
