πŸ’› We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who laced up their trainers and took part in our Fun Run.

It was truly inspiring to see the young, older and everyone in between take part. Has it made you think about taking part next year? If so, watch this space for an announcement very soon!

By taking part, you have helped raise vital funds for Severn Hospice, which provides specialist care and support, free of charge, to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales who are living with incurable illnesses.

We couldn't have asked for a better day, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you. Thank you for making a difference and helping us support such an important cause. πŸ‘

Don't forget to share your photos from the day, and keep an eye on our page for more updates and event pictures!

πŸƒ Councillors and colleagues had a fantastic time at the Lawley 5K Fun Run over the weekend. It was amazing to see 300 people come together, creating such a wonderful sense of community spirit.

Councillor Luke Lewis and a parish council colleague took part in the run. Luke spoke about how much he enjoyed seeing so many people come together and support one another throughout the day.

At the finish line, Cllr Mark Boylan, Cllr Erin Aston. and Councillor Cathy Salter had the pleasure of handing out medals and goody bags, helping to celebrate the achievements of everyone who took part. πŸ…

A huge thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, cheered from the side lines, supported the event and helped make the day such a success.

πŸ’š And a special thank you to Severn Hospice for helping to open the event and for highlighting the important work they do across our community.

We look forward to seeing even more people take part next year!

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Before runners took to the course for the Lawley 5k Fun Run on Saturday 5 September, our Community Action Team was hard at work getting the route ready.

One of their jobs was clearing back overgrown bushes and branches to make sure the paths were safe and accessible.

This is just one example of the important work they carry out. The team works across the parish all year round to help keep our local area clean, safe and looking its best.

πŸ‘ We'd like to say a big thank you to the team for their continued hard work.
