The big day is almost upon us, Santa will soon be arriving in the Parish for his annual trip on his float.

The Float will be leaving Waters Upton Village Hall tomorrow evening approx 5.30pm, heading to Great Bolas via Orchard Close, Little Bolas, Shop Lane, Middle Lane, Sytch Lane, Old Rectory Fields, Crudgington Fields, Manor Place, Catsbritch Lane, back through Waters Upton to The Barat turning around and back to the Village Hall.

Santa will be accompanied by the Parish Councillors so please come out and say hello if you can or wave from your windows. We will be collecting for a local charity, this year it will be for:

The Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal - a £5million appeal to grow cancer care across our region. This will be done through the creation of a Lingen Davies Chemotherapy Centre in Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital.

Hopefully see you all tomorrow. We will post a tracking link tomorrow evening so you can keep up-to-date with our progress.

Waters Upton Parish Council is hosting a Christmas Show at Waters Upton Village Hall this comi g Saturday at 4pm. You will be entertained by Flip from P J Entertainments with a Christmas show followed by party games. Please bring a picnic for the children. All are welcome. Santa will arrive at about 5.45pm with presents for the children. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available for adults and we will sing a few Christmas Carols with members of The Darby Singers until approximately 6.30pm. If you can let me know if your children can attend it will help with the arrangements. You can leave a message in the shop. Please pass this message to your neighbours if they are not on the chat.
