Talking Early Years & Childcare Telford & Wrekin We are part of Telford & Wrekin Council and specialise in early years & childcare advice, support and guidance for parents and providers.

If you are looking for information on what your child is entitled to, looking for childcare, want to start a business, need support for your existing business, require training or want to become a childminder we are here to help. We are passionate about ensuring all children develop in a happy, healthy, safe and good quality provision. As well as supporting our sector by providing training, support and promoting the workforce as a valued career option. We are always happy to help.

The Wellington Scarecrow Competition is just a couple of weeks away now!

There is a £25 prize for each category judged on Friday August 28. All scarecrows are invited to join us in Wellington Market Square on Saturday August 29 for the Wellington Urban Scarecrow Festival.

There are opportunities to get involved on the day, too:

🌞 Councillor Shirley Reynolds visited Love Play Active and the Embrace Group this morning, where children and young people were enjoying fun, funded activities through the Happy Healthy Active Holidays programme.

From sports and creative activities to SEND-friendly sessions, there's something for everyone in the HHAH programme across Telford and Wrekin.

✅ Children eligible for means-tested funded school meals can access funded places.
