What a wonderful afternoon our wonderful Karen braved the shave and we couldn’t be more proud of her all our residents and our fantastic staff team.

With the donations, raffle and cakes we raised a MASSIVE £700!!!!

So many people will receive vital support from MacMillan Cancer Support because of Karen’s bravery and all those who supported her.

Huge huge thank you to everyone who donated money, prizes, cakes you are all amazing and of course to Karen for braving the shave and rocking her new look

It’s almost here!!!! Our wonderful care worker Karen will be braving the shave tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Massive thank you to everyone who has shared, donated prizes and sponsored our Karen we have already reached a massive £140 which will help so many people. A particular big thanks to Tesco who have donated some amazing raffle prizes.

Our wonderful Karen will be braving the shave, to raise money and awareness for MacMillan Cancer Support, a charity that is so close to many people’s hearts!!!

One of our wonderful staff members Karen (pictured here with Michael Buble 😂) is going to be raising money and awareness for McMillan Cancer Support by doing a brave the shave and getting rid of her beautiful blonde locks!!

To help support her we will be holding a little afternoon tea and raffle for a residents families and friends. With all proceeds raised going to this fantastic charity.

We are still in the initial stages of organising, so watch this space for more details and of course we will share the link if anyone would very kindly like to sponsor our brave Karen.

For now we are asking if anyone has any items they could possibly donate for raffle prizes? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

We are so excited to share with you that just 11 days into our month long fundraiser we have already done over 1/2 of our target and have already walked over 40km!!!! And we have already raised a MASSIVE £530!!!

Our original target was to walk a combined 70km throughtout April as part of and we hoped we may reach £100 in donations for The National Autistic Society. We will keep going past our target up until the end of April so please keep offering your support, follow us and donate if you can for a great cause.

Today we presented certificates to celebrate getting to the 1/2 way point!!! We are so proud of all our residents and staff!!! Go team Mayfield you are all superstars 🌟
