Join our brand new dynamic and exciting team and organisation !!! We are recruiting for a 2 bedded children's home within Telford.
Shift patterns :
This job involves shift work and sleeping in including bank holidays, weekends and public holidays.

Job Purpose:
· To provide high quality, safe therapeutic care to children, acting as a leader and role model to all.
· To actively contribute to creating and maintaining a therapeutic home whilst always considering the children’s wishes and preferences.
· To take an active role in training new and existing team members.
· To actively promote and educate others on the Model PACE (playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy) and all other psychological concepts used within the home.The children's home will use Dyadic Developmental Principles (DDP) and the Therapeutic model PACE to therapeutically parent the children.
· To make and support others to make decisions that are in the children's best interests, home and Ubuntu Group- by leading and challenging poor practice.
· Acknowledge and celebrate positive moments from children and staff
· To be alert to signs of distress, neglect or abuse, ensuring that the children are monitored and protected.
· To attend professional meetings on behalf of Ubuntu Group and challenge professionals where appropriate.
· To know, understand and promote Ubuntu Group’s service delivery as a leading provider of therapeutic childcare, as an overall exemplary ambassador.
