On the Beach Bake Off! 🏖️

Students showcased an incredible array of beach-themed creations in our annual Bake Off competition. With separate categories for Year 7, Year 8, and Years 9 & 10, the standard was exceptionally high and judging was no easy task!

The entries demonstrated fantastic creativity, impressive technical skills, and some truly fabulous finishing touches.

Congratulations to all of our bakers who took part, and especially to our winners and House points champions! 🎉👏

A huge well done to our students for recycling over 8,000 plastic bottles this year, helping to keep them out of landfill.

Congratulations to Caernarfon, who were our overall winners with an impressive 1,895 bottles collected! ♻️

Summer Reading
During the final week of term, all students were invited to choose a book to enjoy over the summer holidays. These are books that students can keep for themselves or pass on to others once they have finished reading.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated young adult and children's fiction books. Your generosity has helped us put hundreds of books into the hands of our students and encourage a love of reading over the summer break. 📚

Last month, we said goodbye to our Year 11 students as they celebrated their final day at The Castle School!

The day included a special leavers' assembly, where awards were presented to recognise students' achievements, followed by the traditional shirt signing with friends and staff.

We wish all of our Year 11s the very best for the future. Good luck, Class of 2026! 🍀

UCS College Group Creative & Digital team are excited to launch their Summer Taster Day! This will take place on Tuesday 25 August, 10:00am – 2:00pm at Taunton College. Suitable for Year 8 - 11 students with an interest in any of these subjects, no experience necessary.

Art & Design, Content Creation, Make-up Artistry, Digital Software,
Accounting and Corporate Finance.

This is an incredible opportunity to nurture your creativity and/or problem-solving skills, learn from experienced professionals, and understand the diverse avenues within the local industries.
