We regularly work alongside Arc, helping our clients move into suitable accommodation where support workers and additional help are available when needed. They do an amazing job and are always incredibly generous in donating surplus items to support our work.
This weekend, why not show your support by attending Arc In The Park? 🌳
We’ll be there too with a stand, where our fantastic volunteers will be on hand to chat about the work we do to support people who are rough sleeping.

We are taking part in Big Give, Global’s Make Some Noise and NCVO’s Small Charity Week campaign” During the campaign we aim to raise £5,000 to which will go towards providing over 4,000 meals to 200 rough sleepers in the next twelve months, provide fresh clothing, a laundry service and support access to accommodation.
“Thanks to the Postcode Local Trust, donations made to us in the Small Charity Week match funding campaign will be DOUBLED!”

This week, we just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our amazing volunteers at Open Door.

Their kindness, dedication, and generosity make a real difference every day. Whether they’re here to listen, lend a hand, or simply brighten someone’s day with a smile, they help make Open Door the warm and welcoming community it is.

Everything our wonderful volunteers do helps change lives and allows us to support the many rough sleepers who visit every day.

A huge thank you to Vital Salon on Corporation Street for their incredible support over the past two years.

We are so grateful that Vital Salon committed to a two-year fundraising partnership with us, raising over £11,000 to support our work. Their generosity has gone far beyond fundraising alone – they have also donated hair products, hairdryers, and even came to our rescue with shampoo at very short notice when it was urgently needed.

Their kindness, commitment, and ongoing support have made a real difference, and we cannot thank them enough. From everyone at Open Door thank you for being such fantastic supporters over the last two years. We truly appreciate everything you have done.

Over the weekend, Tim celebrated his 70th birthday with plenty of cake! 🎂

He very kindly donated one of his birthday cakes to Open Door, and our clients have thoroughly enjoyed it this week. It certainly didn’t last long!

A huge thank you to Andy, who chose to celebrate his birthday in a truly special way by hosting a fundraising swing dance event!

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, an incredible amount was raised, allowing us to purchase a range of much-needed essentials for our clients, including rucksacks, tents, roll mats, and even a new TV for our dining area.

Your kindness and support will make a real difference to so many people. Thank you, Andy, and everyone who helped make this amazing achievement possible!
