Another great week here at Cogs! We practiced our left right game- still needs much more work! 🤦🏼‍♀️🫣😂 balloon tennis is always a firm favourite throughout the week, along with 7”s- our most requested activity!
We tried giant jenga this week, and had a visit from Michelle from Golden-Oldies Charity for a sing a long to end the week 🎤🪇🥁

On Friday we were treated to a visit from a staff members Puppies! How cute are they?! We had lots of cuddles and licky kisses from them and tried to hide them up our jumpers when it was time for them to leave! 😂

Doesn’t time fly?! Here’s a quick round up of last week☺️
The weather is on the change, which means one thing, time to pack the fans away! First a spot of housekeeping , and some coffee table maintenance by 2 of our gents.
All the usual games and quizzes, a left right story which taught us that we need lots of practice 😂🫣 and did you know that it’s physically impossible to fold a piece of a4 paper more than 8 times by hand?! We tested this theory out, and it seems true enough!

We have had a lovely week reminiscing with our COGs group. Having long chats about their jobs before retirement. A wide selection of occupations. Lots of very interesting stories. Plus of course our favourites Boccia, pool and frisbee.

This past week has been busy! Just how we like it 👍🏼 it’s great to see how welcoming our customers have been to some new ones lately, and it’s been lovely to see them settling well and engaging within the group 😊
We’ve enjoyed some healthy treats this week with yummy fresh fruit salads being prepared and enjoyed by all.
We’ve also been getting creative and have made a Tree of thanks, adorned with leaves upon which our customer’s have written the things they are thankful for 😊

A few recent pictures, some customers got creative and put together some pictures for our walls. Concentrating hard in cards and Triominoes and great team work at completing a puzzle, as well as a cracking game of pool 😊
