Kingsbury Leisure Centre Kingsbury Leisure Centre provides the community with the use of leisure facilities and activities, including our swimming pool and sports hall.

Welcome to Kingsbury Swimming Pools page. Our facilities include a 25m x 10m swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium, badminton courts and field. For information on hiring our facilities please call 01827 875501. COVID-19 information (updated 12/04/2021) - our facilities are only open for private hire and Kingsbury Leisure Centre swimming lessons. We do not have any public swimming sessions

WE ARE OPEN 😁

We are back open as normal from today, Monday 1st June.

Please remember that we are now cash less and can only accept card payments.

LEISURE CENTRE REOPENING UPDATE

Unfortunately due to repairs taking longer than originally anticipated, we have had to push the reopening date back to MONDAY 1ST JUNE 2026.

We do apologise for the extra delay, but we are doing everything that we can to reopen as quickly as possible.

When we reopen, we will be operating CASH LESS. This means that we will be accepting CARD PAYMENTS ONLY. This will be for any payments that need to be made, including swimming lessons and public swimming. We hope you can understand why we have made this change after recent events.

SWIMMING LESSONS - when we reopen, we will be on week 1 of a new block. As we have missed the usual re-enrolment period on weeks 9 and 10, pay weeks for this block will be week 1 and 2 (Monday 1st June - Sunday 14th June). We will hold children’s places until the end of week 2. Any cancelled lessons will be deducted off the price of the new block. We will post a picture of the pay letter with days and prices in due course.

LEISURE CENTRE REOPENING UPDATE

The damage caused to the swimming pool and associated plant areas during the break in on Friday 1st May 2026 has had a tremendous impact upon us being able to reopen.

We have a provisional reopening date of SATURDAY 23RD MAY 2026.

We are absolutely devastated to be closed for this long after not long being open following the refurbishment. We can only apologise for any inconvenience caused, but we can assure you that we have been doing everything that we possibly can to reopen as soon as possible.

If anything changes with regards to the reopening date, we will post another update.

Swimming lessons - you will be credited for any cancelled lessons when you re-enrol for the next block. We will add a picture of dates and prices to this post in due course.

LEISURE CENTRE CLOSURE UPDATE

Kingsbury School and Leisure Centre was broken into overnight. Due to the significant damage that was caused in leisure centre areas, we are having to close the swimming pool until Friday 8th May. This is the earliest date that we will be reopen, we will update next week with further reopening details.

Swimming lessons - you will receive credit off the cost of the next block for any cancellations and missed lessons for this closure.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused. We truly are gutted to be forced into closing for this amount of time after not long reopening after the refurbishment.

The swimming pool remains closed today and the following sessions are cancelled:
• Swimming lessons 4pm - 6pm
• KASC 6:15pm - 7:45pm
• Adult swim 8pm - 9pm

The swimming lessons for today were already cancelled due to Kingsbury School electrical works and parents/carers were given a hand out slip last week. The missed lesson from today will be deducted from the cost of the next 10 week block, as way of reimbursement.

TUESDAY 3RD MARCH 2026

Due to a technical issue, we have had to close the swimming pool today, Tuesday 3rd March 2026.

The following will be cancelled:
• Swimming lessons 4pm - 6pm
• Splash 6pm - 7pm
• Adult swim 7pm - 8pm

Swimming lessons - when you make payment for the following block, you will be charged for 9 weeks/lessons to reimburse you for the cancelled lesson today.

Unfortunately Kingsbury Schools telephone service is down, so we also cannot use our telephone. We will be unable to contact parents/carers about the swimming lessons today. Please share.

CANCELLATION OF SWIMMING LESSONS

WEDNESDAY 4TH MARCH 4pm - 6pm

Kingsbury School are having electrical works completed between the hours of 4pm and 6pm on the above date. During these hours, the electrical supply to the whole site will be turned off. Therefore, we are having to cancel the swimming lessons on this date.

For the next block, you will be charged for 9 lessons/weeks to credit the lesson that is cancelled on 04/03/2026. This is for children swimming on a Wednesday.

The cancelled lesson falls on week 9 of the current block, which is one of the re-enrolment (payment) weeks. Therefore, we have moved the re-enrolment weeks to week 10 (11/03/2026) and week 1 (18/03/2026).
