We’re calling on every voluntary organisation, community group and local initiative working for the benefit of our village to take part in the Bramley Volunteer Showcase on Saturday 3 October.
Whether your organisation is large or small or run by just one person this is your opportunity to:
• showcase and promote your work
• meet and network with other local volunteers
• attract new volunteers, members and supporters
• speak to parish councillors and receive advice about possible funding sources
Reserve a space and help us show the community just how much voluntary work takes place across Bramley.

A date for your diary – Saturday 3 October
Following the success of our first event, the Bramley Volunteer Showcase is returning, bigger and better, with more space to showcase your organisation.
Anyone who volunteers in the village is welcome to come along and showcase what you do. Whether you help with a children’s or youth group, sports club, social or support group, animal welfare, conservation, the environment, health and wellbeing, village events, a community facility, fundraising, or any other local cause, we’d love you to join us. No group or initiative is too big or too small.
It’s a great opportunity to promote your work, attract new volunteers and supporters, and meet others who give their time to Bramley.
Bramley Parish Councillors will also be available to offer advice about possible sources of funding.
For more information or to register, please contact Jan Wright at [email protected].

Received from our local MP, Alex Brewer - Alex will be holding a Planning Roadshow meeting in Bramley to give local residents an opportunity to discuss housing and planning issues affecting the area.

We have written directly to local residents to invite them to attend. Unfortunately, it has not been possible to invite every household individually, so we have prioritised residents living closest to the proposed developments. However, the event is open to everyone in the village, and all local residents are very welcome to attend.

Alex will be joined by Cllr Andy Konieczko, Cabinet Member for Strategic Planning and Infrastructure at Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council. The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to share their views, discuss local housing and planning issues, and ask questions about proposed developments.

The event details are:
Date: Wednesday 19th August
Time: 7.00pm - 8.00pm
Venue: Please note that, for security reasons, we will not be making the event location public until a few days beforehand, but it will be within Bramley, and sent to everyone who has registered to attend.

Join Alex Brewer MP and Cllr Andy Konieczko, for an open community discussion about planning and development in your local area.
