Youth Engagement Workers (YEWs) work with young people age 16-18yrs that are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or are at risk of being NEET.
Swindon Brough Council's Youth Engagement Service provides impartial information, advice and guidance to Swindon's Young People who are not in education, employment or further traning (NEET) 16-18 year old. YEWs support young people to find apprenticeships, jobs, education or training courses that set them on a road to the careers they want to have.

Green Labyrinth Training is proud to be supporting our local 16-18-year olds students with a fantastic opportunity to gain work experience through a Traineeship Programme. DO NOT DELAY AS THERE ARE ONLY 10 PLACES AVAILABLE ON THIS PROGRAMME FOR SEPTEMBER.
You will be a full time student with Green Labyrinth Training and attend our centre in Milton Road for lessons in English and Maths (if required) and a vocational subject to support your Traineeship. You will spend 2-3 days a week in a work placement where you will learn on the job.
The Traineeship has flexible start and end times but typically will last from 3 to 6 months and are designed to help young people move into an apprenticeship, further education and other employment.
Green Labyrinth Training will be offering Traineeships in: Accountancy, Business administration, Customer Service and Digital Marketing. There are some minimum entry requirements which will be discussed on application.
You will be assigned a Job Coach who will be your main contact from Green Labyrinth Training who will prepare and support you in your work placement.

Kooth gives children and young people easy access to free online counselling, a community of peer-to-peer support through self-help articles, an online magazine and moderated forums 365 days a year. Children and young people can access online counselling 12-noon until 10pm on weekdays, and 6pm until 10pm on weekends when commissioned in their area
