Well done to the 60 Year 9 students that took part in Young Enterprise Launchpad day on Wednesday. Mrs Clarke said: "Students worked in small groups to create a business from scratch: they produced marketing materials, worked out the finances and even had to gain investment from our volunteers to fund their business ideas. At the end of the day, each group presented their business during an elevator pitch and the best presentations were given awards. Students developed their employability skills and seemed to really enjoy the day!"

Mrs Johnson would like to share some of the amazing work being done in her Year 9 classes: "Since September, the Year 9 iMedia carousel students have been creating visual identities (logos) and then adverts for a made-up client who provides graphics for people to use in the metaverse. I think you would all agree we have a high class of graphics being produced – well done!"

On Thursday 21 May, the U16 rounders team had a good win against Swindon Academy. Mrs Evans reports: "POM Taina A was awesome with the bat whilst Rosie O was electric in the field. Captain Holly D said " My team played great and bring on RWBA!" Final score- 14.5-9.

The Year 9 team beat both Swindon Academy and RWBA, 15.5-6.5 and 17.5-7.5.
The girls put on a great batting performance in both matches with POM awarded to Megan B and Tabitha F. In the field, POM were awarded to Tof G and Megan B for accurate catching.

Both squads played so well in the summer sun and I'm is very proud of their performances!"
