🎉 Designs for the new play area in Parc Gwernfadog now released 🎉
We are very pleased to share the designs for the new play area in Parc Gwernfadog🛝
🎡The old play area at Heol Glanant was vandalised and removed over 20 years ago.
🗒️We canvassed PGF residents on what they would like to see in a new play park, then began a search for the best and safest site in Parc Gwernfadog. After a lengthy technical evaluation, land behind Morriston comprehensive school was identified as the most suitable and safest area.
🛝The new play area will be installed by Dragon Play who have provided a number of the new play areas delivered across Swansea. Currently £8m has been invested to deliver over 60 new play areas across Swansea.
❤️In Morriston, Morriston Park, Ynystawe Park, a Cwmrhydycierw park, DFS Park, & Llewellyn Park have all been upgrade with new play areas.
🛹New skate park areas and new bike pump tracks will be also created in Morriston park and Ynystawe park in the new few months.
❤️The new Parc Gwernfadog play area will create is the first new park in Morriston for over 25 years
