Sad to say we have to sell Tom and Emma's lovely yurt. We would love someone we know to benefit from this beautiful space.The yurt is 21 foot diameter with 15oz fire retardant canvas and fire retardant PVC roof covering and trim. The walls are ash, the roof poles are yellow pine and the door frame is oak. The floor is 1" tounge and groove with 4" of insulation and 4x2 supports, the pillars are 6x6". The stove and flue and fittings and insulation are included in the price. It is still in situation at Lanwell caswell valley so can be viewed. The Yurt cost £5,500 we would like £4,000ono the floor cost £1,600 in materials we would like £500 the buyer would have to dismantle the floor but we would also help. Crafty thursday in the yurt tomorrow. Bring something to do, or try whittling a spoon, Dai will be there for some of the day or just come for a natter and a cuppa. Yoga class on Friday 4th at 11am with Aine, only one space left, so if your interested get in touch straight away. It is £7 and you will need a mat, blanket and if you have a yoga block bring that too. Hope to see you.

Hi folks, from this coming thursday i am going to start a weekly thursday craft day in the Yurt next to Lanwell roundhouse. Bring along some craft work you want to work on or try a craft that someone else can show you. I am going to do some nuno prefelts that can be worked into a larger piece of felting at a later stage. Dai can bring some spoon blanks if you want to learn to carve a spoon. start around 11am till 3ish depending if you need to collect children. Bring some lunch to share. If you need some directions ring Jude on 10792 233596. a small donation will help with refreshments.

Dai is running a spoon carving day at Lanwell on Saturday 31st October. Starts at 9.30 finishes at 4.00. There are two spaces left. If you would like to come please ring Dai on 01792 233596 to book a place. We will be running more workshops during the winter in the yurt next to the roundhouse so if you are interested in spoon carving, green woodworking, felting, peg loom weaving or needle felting please get in touch. Look forward to some creative sessions this winter.

getting supplies ready for craft fayres in July and August with the Gower crafts and Artisans group. Will be in Porteynon village hall on 18th and 25th July Oxwich Bay Hotel on 9th July and Two weeks in Aberglasney gardens 22nd August till 4th September. I hope to fix more dates for chair workshops in July and August soon.
