Dear Parents/Carers,
After much careful consideration we will be deactivating our page and this post will be our final post.
As a team, back in September we were looking at our social media presence and how we communicate effectively with parents.
We currently use a variety of ways to communicate with you all eg Seesaw, T2P, Facebook, good old fashioned letters being sent home, parental questionnaires to name a few.
Whilst our page has been a fantastic source of communication , especially during school closures it has also been a platform that has been used for negative communication.
T2P has also become very costly for us as a school and we feel passionately that the money could be used to support our children in a different way. Therefore we will be phasing out T2P while setting up our new system.
We are proud to have been working with GroupEd, who have created a simple solution which will bring together all the tools that we need as a school in one place. Most importantly it is safe, simple and secure. Group Ed will create one package to replace the several forms of communication options we currently use.
The GroupEd app allows clear and easy communication between parents/carers and schools. The app will send messages, attachments, and important alerts direct to you. Most importantly, we can still share the excellent work and videos we create with you personally.
GroupEd will be in school with us this Tuesday and we will aim to hold sessions for you to attend to explore the app and if needed help get you set up, whilst offering a cuppa and a biscuit.
As a staff, we understand that keeping connected to the school is crucial and feeling engaged on all aspects of school life and celebrating achievements are very special moments that are cherished.
Our core value is ‘Family’ and it is vital for our success that we continue to work together to create a learning environment supported by the positive relationships and interactions between all members of our school community.
