Charged | Four men have been charged after residents of Mumbles and villages in the Gower reported cold-callers knocking their doors and acting suspiciously and, in some cases, aggressively while trying to sell them items.

34-year-old Raymond Turnbull and 32-year-old Liam Doherty, both from Middlesbrough, and 25-year-old Connor Peacock, from Reading, have each been charged with the offence of acting as a pedlar without a pedlar’s certificate.

31-year-old Ryan Steel, from Stockton-on-Tees, has been charged with acting as a pedlar without a pedlar’s certificate and possession of a Class B drug (cannabis).

Detective Inspector Tom Richardson said: “These four men aroused suspicion due to their behaviour and made local residents feel uncomfortable.

"We thank residents for their diligence and willingness to report this to police. Reporting to and engaging with the police is invaluable in helping us keep our communities safe.

“If you witness unknown individuals acting suspiciously in your area, please report it to us.”

Just a reminder guys, if you invite people to the Three Crosses group and they're not from Crwys or nearby vicinity and don't agree to group rules, they won't be allowed to join. Hope this is ok with all residents
