Welsh Trade Unionist and Socialist candidates stand for:

Democratic public ownership.

A future for young people without debt, war or climate disaster.

A united fight for jobs, homes and services to combat racism and division.

At the Swansea city of sanctuary hustings, our TUSC candidate said:

When Labour’s Shabana Mahmood, egged on by Reform UK, demonises and clamps down on the right to asylum, the Welsh Government should robustly resist, and demand additional powers. Instead - as in so many instances - the resistance takes the form of a polite letter.

Anti-migrant rhetoric is shameful divide and rule from Starmer’s Labour is a cover for 16 years of austerity, loyally implemented by the Welsh Government and by every major political party in local government. It allows Reform UK to falsely pose as anti-establishment. But this can be cut across.

Welsh TUSC will be the only party on the ballot in our constituencies standing on the democratically decided policies of 400,000 trade unionists in Wales, to refuse to pass on cuts to services, and instead to lead a united fight for a needs budget, demanding that money back from Westminster. We have the wealth in this country, but it sits in the hands of the super rich.

Refugees are welcome here - not at the mercy of slum private landlords, not crammed in hotels, without privacy, not as super-exploited cheap workers - but living in communities, with good jobs, with rights, with homes and services just like everyone else. We’re stronger together, and that’s what we’re fighting for.

When casting your vote on Thursday, think about who has ACTUALLY stood up to Labour austerity in Swansea.

At the last council budget, our candidates spoke in the chamber against cuts to services and against council tax rises - while the Green & Lib Dem councillors, who are now standing for Senedd, only abstained.

Our members have got a track record of campaigning - and we don't need to wait for elections to do that.

But for the strongest possible opposition in the Senedd, and a voice for the working-class, vote Welsh Trade Unionist and Socialist on Thursday.

Then join the Socialists! - find out more at https://socialist.wales/

As parties drop 2024 pledges, it's important to challenge Plaid and the Greens from the Left - otherwise we risk a continuation of Welsh Labour, just in different colours.

On May 7, Vote ✘ Welsh Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition for a future for young people.

Our socialist candidates have a track record of standing up for working-class communities.

- whether its the trade union rep who led the successful campaign to keep open health facilities at Cardiff Royal Infirmary,

- or the young hospitality worker and LGBT+ activist fighting to get hospitality workers home safely, bringing trade union solidarity to trans pride,

- or the nurse who has seen first hand what Labour and Tory cuts and privatisation have done to the NHS

They've been the real opposition to Labour in Cardiff and Westminster - and we need fighters like them in the Senedd.

Will you support our positive socialist campaign - for a future for young people, and working-class unity to combat racism and division?

Senedd constituencies are massive - twice the size of UK parliament constituencies - and unlike the other parties, we have no rich donors.

£10 could buy 300 leaflets. £200 could buy a billboard. £5000 could put a socialist leaflet in every home.

Or you could download and print off a window poster at home - every little helps!

Find out how you can help. Print out a window poster, donate, or join.
