Just one week to go! We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Mayor's Charity Line Dancing Event on Friday 11 September.

Expect great music, plenty of laughs and a wonderful opportunity to support the Mayor's chosen charities while enjoying a fun-filled evening with friends and neighbours.

Don't worry if you've never tried line dancing before – it's all about having fun and getting involved!

If you decide on the night that you'd like to go don't you worry you can pay on the door. See you on the dance floor!

Pull on your dancing boots and join us for a fantastic evening of Line Dancing!
The Mayor's Charity Line Dancing Event is taking place on Friday 11 September, bringing everyone together for an evening of fun, music and fundraising.
Whether you're an experienced line dancer or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to come along, learn some new moves and support great causes.

Following on from our recent post listing the winners of Llwchwr Town Council Bloomin' Lovely Garden competition 2026. All the winners met up on Saturday morning for the first meeting of the newly established Loughor Gardening Club at Loughor Welfare Hall. Thanks again to everyone who entered the competition, to our Judge, Maggie Jones and congratulations to the winners.

Mayor Sandra Beynon and Consort Mrs Mags Jones presented a cheque for £200 to Loughor Bowls Club on behalf of Llwchwr Town Council. The funding will assist the club in maintaining the club green and building, making it a great place for residents of all ages to enjoy the social and recreational benefits of bowls. By supporting groups such as Loughor Bowls Club, the Council continues its commitment to strengthening community connections, encouraging active lifestyles and enhancing the wellbeing of local people.

Following on the success of this event back in March of this year, Rachel from Fitsteps has organised another dance workshop with Graziano Di Prima at Loughor Welfare Hall. A brilliant day which everyone really enjoyed. Don't miss your chance to join in.
