We’re looking for volunteer drivers to help local residents stay connected with the community.
A few hours of your time each week could make a huge difference — from taking someone to a medical appointment to helping them get to social activities that keep them active and independent.

If you have a full UK driving licence, enjoy meeting people, and want to give back in a meaningful way, SCVS would love to hear from you.

Mayor Beynon had the pleasure of presenting Jireh Food Bank with a cheque for £800, raised from the Mayor's events during 2025/26. The Food Bank was one of the chosen charities last year, and we're pleased to say they will remain one of the Mayor's charity choices for 2026/27.

Their tireless work supporting families across our community is inspiring and every penny donated helps them continue making a real difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed — your kindness keeps this vital service going.

Supporting Local Sport in Our Community
Recently, the Mayor of Llwchwr Town Council was delighted to present a community grant to 3M Gorseinon Road Runners 3mgorseinonrr.co.uk . This fantastic local club continues to inspire people of all ages to get active, build confidence and enjoy the power of running together.

A huge well done to everyone involved in the club for the energy, commitment and community spirit you bring to our area. Llwchwr Town Council is proud to support you.
