Something spooky is coming to Swanage Pier…🦇

Join us for a hauntingly fun seaside experience packed with Halloween surprises, family-friendly activities and plenty of spooky magic for all ages:

👻 Halloween Trail
Saturday 24th Oct – Sunday 1st Nov
Explore the Pier and keep your eyes peeled for spooky surprises hidden along the way. Once you've discovered all the eerie items and completed your quiz sheet, head to the Pier Gatehouse to claim your treat and be entered into our prize draw for a chance to win some fang-tastic Halloween prizes!
- Trail Cost: £2 per sheet
- Standard adult Pier admission applies

🎃 Spooky Halloween Crafts & Games
Wednesday 28th October between 11am - 2pm
No booking required, simply drop-in and create your own spooky masterpieces and/or take part in our Halloween games and challenges. Pop in anytime between 11am & 2pm.
- Crafts and Games: £3.50 per child
- Trail + Crafts/Games: £4.50 per child

✨ Sponsor a Plank on Swanage Pier ✨

For a limited time only, every £250 plank sponsorship includes a one-year membership to the Friends of Swanage Pier.

🩵 Your sponsorship will be marked with a brass plaque laid on the Pier, engraved with a short message of your choice. This could be a name, a special date, a dedication to a loved one, or a way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, new arrival, group, club, society or business. Each plaque can include up to 30 letters and comes with a colour certificate.

As part of this special offer, your one-year Friends membership means you can visit your commemorative plaque free of charge throughout the year, as well as receive our newsletter and be among the first to hear about upcoming events.

ᴜᴘᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ ᴡᴀʟᴋs ᴀɴᴅ ᴛᴏᴜʀs 🚶

☛ Park to Pier Walk - Sunday 30th August • 10.30am

Meeting at Durlston Country Park at 10.30am, you will first have the opportunity to learn more about the country park, led by a Ranger. You will then be joined by John Scott, Chairperson of the Dorset Geologists Association Group, for a stroll down to the Pier, discovering the history, wildlife, and geology of the bay along the way.

Adult - £7.00 / Child - £3.00 (No booking required just turn up on the day.)

☛ Park to Pier Walk - Sunday 13th September • 10.30am

Join a Ranger for a guided walk from Durlston Castle to Swanage Pier learning about wildlife, geology and history of Durlston Country Park and Swanage. Once you reach the Pier, you will have the opportunity for a history talk led by a Pier Volunteer. Make sure to dress for the weather, walking boots are recommended. The walk will include hills and some steps.

Adult - £7.00 / Child - £3.00 (No booking required just turn up on the day at Durlston Castle Reception.
