Crisis and Resilience Service

{Fortnightly Thursday, 2-4pm at Swaffham Library}

The Crisis and Resilience Service (CRS) will be at the library, offering friendly support to people experiencing financial hardship.

The service can provide advice and support with things such as food, energy and heating costs, essential household items, clothing, transport and digital essentials.

They can also help with budgeting, finding additional financial support and connecting you with other local advice and support services.

If you are 16 or over, live in Norfolk and are experiencing financial hardship, come along to find out more about the support available and how to apply.

No need to book – just drop in.

Please note Swaffham Library will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Summer Bank Holiday. We reopen on Tuesday as normal.

Just a reminder that Monday 31 August is the Summer Bank Holiday. And as a result, our libraries will be closed! The weather's looking a bit grim for the weekend, but we hold out hope there may be some sun (hence the beach-themed graphic). Either way, we hope everyone has a lovely Bank Holiday, preferably full of wonderful reading!

With so many children about to embark on their very first day of school this September it seemed fitting to share the Imagination Library's graduate letter from the legend herself, Dolly Parton 🌟

RIP Dolly, thank you for inspiring and providing for so many children to delve into the magic of books 📖

We are saddened to see the news that the wonderful Dolly Parton has passed away 💔

Most famous for her incredible music career, Dolly also donated over 300 million books to children across the world, through her Imagination Library scheme - something we as librarians wholeheartedly endorse.

RIP Dolly, you will be missed.
