We have had the privilege of helping many animals since we set up ACT-swad and even before that. From the furry to the scaley and back again, we've seen everything come through the door and whilst some are still here recieving care, we've had the great joy of finding loving forever homes for the animals we've cared for and loved.
We have always tried to do our absolute best for these animals but unfortunately we have been struggling for a while. Finding the time, the funds and support necessary to make this endeavour work has been harder than we could have ever imagined. Through the pandemic and the fall out that's created, we've been hit by obstacle, after obstacles and unfortunately we just can't continue in the same way anymore.
The support we have recieved since our set up has meant the absolute world not just to us, but also to the animals it has meant we could help. We want to thank every single person who has donated their time, their money and space in their homes. Without that support we wouldn't have lasted as long as we have done.
But all good things must come to an end and unfortunately this is our curtain call. The team behind Animal Crisis Team Swad will still be supporting animals on a smaller scale but for now our doors are closing. The animals still needing care and rehabilitation will still get that help and support but we can not sustain anymore.
