A small of amount of damage has been reported to the council at the new toilet site/changing rooms. Remember these facilities are essential to the park and we campaigned hard to get the funding. Please take as much care as you can to keep them in tip top condition 🚻 🌳

UPDATE – Crozier Street / Newcastle Road

I’ve been speaking to residents about the 18-bedroom HMO proposed for the corner of Crozier Street and Newcastle Road, both before and after the election.

Just to be clear I’m not a councillor and I don’t sit on the council. I don’t have any formal say in decisions. I’m a resident and I’m doing what I can to make sure people’s views aren’t ignored.

The message I’m getting from people is consistent. Nobody is against affordable proposals,but this is too big for the street it’s going into.

Parking is the main issue and it’d already busy round there, and people are worried this will cause further issues.

I’ve asked to speak at the Planning Committee so those concerns can be put on record and I can speak against it.
