⚠️ Temporary Overnight Road Closure - A357, Shillingstone

Please be aware that Dorset Council has issued a temporary road closure notice for the A357 in Shillingstone, between Bere Marsh and Poplar Hill.

Date: Wednesday 30 September 2026
Times: 8.00pm to 11.30pm (anticipated)
Reason: Wessex Water carriageway reinstatement works

A signed diversion route will be in place via the A357, A350 and A30. The notice remains valid for up to five days if required, although the work is expected to be completed on the evening of 30 September.

⚠️ Road Closure Notice – Rivers Corner

Please be advised that Dorset Highways will be carrying out essential highway maintenance and drainage works at Rivers Corner.

📅 Dates: 26th - 27th October 2026
⏰ Duration: 24-hour road closure throughout the works

The road will be fully closed during this period and will not be open to traffic. A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the works.

For the safety of residents, motorists and workforce, both pedestrian and vehicle access within the closure area will only be available by contacting the telephone number displayed on the onsite signage. Residents will then be escorted safely through the works by a Traffic Management Operative.

Please be aware that The Causeway, Hazelbury Bryan will be subject to a temporary road closure between Partway Lane and Honeybun Meadow.

Closure Dates: 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟒 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟓 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (works anticipated to be completed by 25 September)

The closure is required to allow Openreach to safely carry out works to replace a telegraph pole. The road will be closed to all vehicles during these times.

🚧 Temporary Road Closure Notice – B3092 Crown Road, Marnhull 🚧

Dorset Council has issued a temporary road closure notice for B3092 Crown Road, Marnhull, between Church Hill and Tanzey Lane.

📅 Date: Monday 5 October 2026
⏰ Time: 9:30am to 3:00pm

The closure is required to allow Wessex Water to replace a loose cover and frame and to ensure the safety of both workers and road users. Although the notice remains valid for up to five days, the works are expected to be completed on 5 October.

🚗 A signed diversion route will be in place via the B3092, A357 and A30.
