Happy New Year from Mutch Fire & Security 🥳

It’s been a snowy start, hasn’t it?!

Greg attempted to clear his van and the drive early this morning as he was determined to get back to work! 💪 🪏

Unfortunately, he didn’t get far before getting stuck in the snow and needed to be pushed up a hill whilst in Peterhead!

He has taken the difficult but sensible decision to postpone his planned job for this afternoon as the adverse weather continues to cause disruption.

Please bear with us this week whilst we review the diary, re-arrange work according to the weather conditions and also liaise with suppliers on when materials are likely to be delivered.

Meantime stay safe folks and,
where possible, stay home and cosy!

We continue to be extremely busy here at Mutch Fire & Security and the sense of pride and appreciation continues to grow each month as we see increasing numbers of MFS external sounders fitted on the walls of homes and businesses across the North-East and beyond.

Have you noticed our sirens up whilst out and about? 👀

We’ve had so many compliments on our sleek branding with customers loving the design of our logo against the black background.

Lots of miles covered in the last 6 weeks with job locations varying from almost on our doorstep here in Stuartfield but also as far afield as Inverness.

Over the month of September we completed multiple commercial fire alarm and CCTV installations, as well as routine PPM servicing and remedial works.

After returning from a fantastic family break away in the Highlands and Moray Coast, we are ready to get back to our next busy spell at Mutch Fire & Security 🔥 🔒

July saw the completion of our biggest project to date spanning over 4 working weeks, which comprised of a large scale upgrade of an old analogue CCTV system to a new IP CCTV system, as well as the upgrade and extension of the fire alarm and also installation of a Paxton NET2 access control system at Fraserburgh Fish Market. Fraserburgh Harbour

We also completed work at a local social club, upgrading their intruder alarm system, installing a new Paxton NET2 access control system and upgrading of the existing CCTV system. Here we also took control of the annual servicing and maintenance contract to ensure the client’s equipment continues to operate efficiently and effectively year to year.

In between the bigger project work, we managed to squeeze in some routine servicing for our local customers as well as sub-contract work further afield.
