These new Neurodiversity Navigators are here to help parents and carers find their way around the system, and access any support your child or young person may need 👇

Families in Trafford who have children with ADHD, autism and other neurodivergent conditions can now access support more easily thanks to the launch of a new service in the borough.

What comes across really strongly is the sense of community and support between carers, and the friendships that grow between both the carers and the children in their care.

Thanks to everyone who joined us in the Altrincham Festival parade on Saturday. It was the second time we’ve had a float and this time we even won a prize! We were selected as winners in the Business and Charity category for Best Float which was amazing 🙌

Big thanks in particular to our fantastic Trafford Foster Carer Association (FCA) who joined forces with our fostering service to make the event such a great success.

One of our favourite days of the year - our annual Big Celebration of cared for children! Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a happy, joyful occasion, in particular the incredibly talented young people who performed for us - you were all sensational! Thanks too to the brilliant Ali Kahn for hosting the event once again and bringing your amazing energy to the day.

Children and young people growing up in care across Trafford were celebrated at a special event held at The Fuse in Partington, bringing together young people, carers, families and professionals for a day of recognition, celebration and fun.

It was wonderful to formally welcome some of our new foster carers into the Trafford fostering family, and what better time to do it that during national Foster Care Fortnight last week. This was a great opportunity for them to meet other foster carers and find out more about Trafford Foster Carer Association, all part of the support in place for our amazing foster carers in Trafford.
