This session invites us to reflect on the idea of exploration, particularly through the lens of travel. Whether your poem captures a distant place, a meaningful journey, or the quiet act of observing the world, you are welcome to share.

This National Volunteers Week, we’re celebrating the amazing people who give their time to support The Crispin Hall Trust.

This photo was taken at our recent volunteers party – a small thank you for the huge contribution our volunteers make throughout the year. Whether helping at Crispin Community Centre, supporting our Volunteer Drivers Service, or volunteering at Crispin Hall, every volunteer plays an important part in keeping our community connected and thriving.

We’re incredibly grateful for all that our volunteers do, and we’re always keen to welcome new faces. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, share your skills, learn something new, and make a positive difference in your local community.

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Whatever your experience or the amount of time you can offer, there could be a volunteering opportunity that’s right for you.
Email: [email protected] or pop into speak to us face to face.

Again a big Thank You to all our volunteers for everything you do, and Happy National Volunteers’ Week!

The excitement of the World Cup isn’t just for the pitch—it’s a wonderful opportunity to inspire a love of reading too! 🌍✨ Whether your child is football-mad or just discovering the beautiful game, there are some fantastic books that bring the magic of the tournament into Storytime.

⚽ Reading about football can help children explore teamwork, resilience, and cultures from across the globe—all through a sport they love!
Why not turn match days into reading days too? Pick a book, learn about a team or player, and then cheer them on together! 📣
