The Royal National Institute of Blind RNIB are asking YOU to let them know what your local library has to offer for accessibility. So, to help you a little, we've made a display of just some of what we offer. ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿ‘€ ๐ŸŽง

Scan the QR code on the display poster, or follow the link below to help them out! The survey ends 14th June.

The author talk with Jo Middleton has been rescheduled for Thursday, 25th June from 5:30-6:30pm! ๐ŸŽ‰
Jo began her comedy writing career in 2009 with her award-winning parenting blog, moving on to write three comedy novels including her outrageously funny Christmas Murder Mysteries series. โ€˜Happy Bloody Christmasโ€™ & โ€˜Not Another Bloody Christmasโ€™ are hilarious whodunnits that will keep you guessing, perfect for fans of Gill Sims, Ian Moore and Richard Osman. โ€œBrilliantly written, hilarious .... smart and very, very funny!"
Jo will be chatting about her books and her unconventional writing journey, answering your questions and signing and selling her books.
Places are FREE but need to be booked either by emailing us at [email protected] or phone 0300 123 2224. Please include your name, contact number and also library membership number (if you are not a member now is the time to join!)
We look forward to seeing you!

This week is 'Volunteer Week' and the biggest thank you goes to all our lovely volunteers in the library ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’š

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our library, and Volunteer Week is the perfect moment to shine a light on the people who make our space more welcoming, more vibrant, and more human every single day.
Whether theyโ€™re shelving books, helping visitors find their next great read, supporting events, or offering a friendly smile at just the right moment, our volunteers bring energy and kindness that canโ€™t be measured. Their dedication transforms our library from a building full of books into a true community hub.
