We have received an update from Montel Civil Engineering regarding upcoming traffic management works at the Wildmoor Roundabout on the A46 which start on Tuesday 23 June and will remain in place for approximately 11 weeks.

We are delighted to announce the dates for work to begin to transform the play area at Shottery Fields. This project will see new, modern play equipment be installed with equipment than the area currently has, including:

• A climbing hangout unit
• An embankment slide
• A double tower multi-play unit
• A multiuser seesaw
• A wheelchair carousel
• Additional swings
• A toddler play tower

And much more, including new and additional seating for enjoying a picnic.

This work will start week commencing Monday 22 June and the fantastic new play area will open in time for the School Summer Holidays. The area will be fenced off during this period and we ask that, for safety purposes, nobody attempts to enter.

If you have a minor injury, the Minor Injury Unit at Stratford Hospital is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

We encourage patients to use the unit for the treatment of sprains and strains, suspected or minor fractures, wound infections, minor burns and scalds, minor head injuries, minor eye injuries, animal bites, and injuries to the back, shoulder, and chest.

Please consider using the MIU where appropriate to help ensure our emergency services remain available for those with the most urgent and life threatening needs.
