Stratford-upon-Avon Youth Town Council is starting a Debate Club. If you know a young person who lives, goes to school or college, or has a part time job in our Town, and wants to make a difference and are in Years 7 to 13 (ages 11-18) then this is for them.

👉 Do they want to learn or improve their Debate & Public Speaking Skills
👉 Do they like Creative & Critical Thinking
👉 Do they want to learn Leadership & Teamwork skills.
👉 Do they need some voluntary experience for their DofE portfolio.

The debate club will help them with presentation skills, build confidence and gain the ability to think and present points on the spot, and so much more!

Don't forget we are celebrating the achievements of local young people, with the first Stratford-upon-Avon Youth Town Council Youth Awards on April 15th.

These awards will recognise the efforts, ingenuity and achievements of our amazing young people, aged 11 to 18, who live, go to school or work in this town. The awards will celebrate the difference they make to their friends and families, and to the wider community.

There are only two weeks left to get in those nominations for this year's Youth Awards, so please show a young person you know how proud you are of them. (Closing date for nominations is on March 24)
