Today we made a donation from the school to apex Scotland food bank - a great amount of food was collected to help those in need.

We also donated a range of gifts to Wigtownshire women’s aid to be gifted to children and teenagers they are currently supporting.

Thank you to everyone who donated to both causes.

🎉S3 pupils secure charity Change mental health £3000 🎉

On Wednesday 28th May a group of S3 pupils competed in the YPI final. All our groups gave amazing presentations as to why their charity deserved a £3000 donation. The winning group was presented with a cheque for £3000 from our head girl which will be donated to change mental health.

YPI at Stranraer academy has resulted in £9000 being donated to local charities over the past 3 years, with additions from pupils fundraising bringing the total to over £12000.

Stranraer Academy’s Pupil Leadership Team would like to thank all those involved in the running of their charity Easter Fete 😊

We would like to thank the amazing emergency services for giving up their invaluable time aswell as all of our stall holders.

Thank you also to all volunteers and wonderful parent helpers who gave up their time for this worthwhile cause, and our fabulous
photographer Archie Mccubbin.

Thank you to all those who donated prizes and finally a huge thanks to the janitors at Stranraer Academy.
