All manufacturing is done on site, including our well known trade product "Thixofix" and many other high quality products such as Epoxies, Polyurethanes, Latex Adhesives, Neoprene Adhesives and Natural Rubber Adhesives to name but a few. The continued expansion of Alpha Adhesives progressed in 2004 when the Industrial Adhesives Division of Dunlop was taken over, incorporating the trade name Thixof

ix. The company at the time moved from Halesowen to grow and continue the businesses demands in one of the most modern manufacturing plants in the world.

We would like to reassure our customers and suppliers that Alpha remain fully operational, whilst adhering to strict social distancing guidelines as set out by the Government and PHE. Regular cleansing, temperature taking and various other procedures are undertaken to ensure the safety and well being of our staff. Those staff members that can work from home are doing so.

Further to the recent Government announcement, we would just like to reassure our customers and suppliers that we are still manufacturing products and supplying orders as usual.

We are open for business!

We are very pleased to announce that, as planned, we are open for business.

This has taken a careful planning and we are operating with skeleton staff only. It’s important to note that we are strictly adhering to Government social distancing recommendations and all staff are provided with suitable PPE where appropriate. Those staff members that can work from home are doing so.

As mentioned in our previous announcement, we are also available to discuss any new projects or respond to any technical queries as required. So please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll do our very best to help where we can.

March 25th 2020

Further to the Government announcement of UK lock down we would like to inform our customers and suppliers that as of Friday March 27th we will temporarily stop all production for two weeks and close the factory until after Easter. No products will be dispatched or raw materials received during this time.

The well-being of our employees, their families and the community is our main priority. Staff that can are working from home. We are constantly monitoring the situation and will continue to communicate if any change in our planned return of April 14th might occur. We thank you for our support and understanding at this difficult time.

A statement from Alpha Adhesives & Sealants Ltd.

The impact of COVID-19 precautions will undoubtedly have an effect on businesses everywhere. However, we would like to reassure our customers & suppliers and all those associated with our family business that so far as we are able, under the government guidelines, it is ‘business as usual’. We will endeavour, where possible, to carry on with our usual manufacturing and administration activities and have encouraged certain staff to work from home if they so wish. We have cancelled all visitors to our facility here in Stourport and have suspended all customer and supplier visits to avoid any unnecessary contact. You can help us plan ahead by advising in advance of any order requirements so that we can plan our production schedule to help meet your supply expectations, so communication is king. Please call us with any queries or concerns you may have, we’re here to help.

These are unprecedented times, but if we all work together we’ll get through it & we thank you for your understanding.
