As a small local charity supporting unpaid carers across Dudley and the surrounding areas, we do what we do not for recognition, but because we live this life ourselves and are passionate about building strong connections within our community.
You can imagine our surprise and delight when we learned that we have been chosen as one of the charities to be supported by the newly elected Mayor of Dudley. We are incredibly proud to stand alongside so many inspiring local organisations that work tirelessly to make our community a better place.
Our sincere thanks and congratulations go to the Mayor of Dudley, Cllr Pete Lowe; Mayoress Su Lowe; and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Adam Aston, and his consort, Ben Middleton.
We’re sure this will be a bostin’ year for everyone involved, celebrating and recognising the many fantastic charities and community groups that help make Dudley such a special place.
Bostin’ news for Dudley 💙
Dudley has a new Mayor — Councillor Pete Lowe — who has launched his vision for a ‘BOSTIN Dudley’, celebrating pride, inclusion and community.
With more than 20 years of service, Cllr Lowe says becoming First Citizen is “an honour and a privilege.”
He will be supported throughout the year by Mayoress Su, Deputy Mayor Councillor Adam Aston and Consort Ben Middleton.
