Stony Stratford Town Council The Town Council represents 7,900 people living in Fullers Slade, Galley Hill & Stony Stratford.

We are here to represent you in the best way we can. Please write to us, email or come into our office in Stony Stratford library to talk to us about any issues. We regularly work with local, regional and national authorities on specific issues. We aim to represent your views and sometimes we need to call public meetings to find out your opinions so please come along. Milton Keynes (MK) Council is the unitary authority for the parish of Stony Stratford, Galley Hill and Fullers Slade.

Put the dates in your diary for our next Coffee Mornings at Stony Stratford Library! Join FOSSL and the Town Council for a free tea or coffee and delicious homemade cake and make some new friends. Everyone is welcome to join us and it's all free. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note that the Coffee Mornings will be taking a break during August, and will return at the beginning of September.

Just a reminder that Stony In Bloom would love you to join them for their Community Tidy Day this Saturday, 20th June to help make Stony beautiful before the Britain In Bloom judging day on 1st July. If you can spare any time, please meet at 10am outside of Stony Stratford Library. Or why not join your neighbours in your own street for a tidy up. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you for helping to keep our local area looking lovely.

Come and enjoy Storytime at Stony Stratford Library this Thursday, 18th June from 10-10.30am. Join librarians Harch and Tracy for stories, songs and rhymes and lots of fun! Tomorrow Storytime will be all about celebrating the people that we love.

Storytimes are aimed at babies and pre-schoolers, but all are welcome. Sessions are free and there's no need to book. There is a different theme every week. Don't forget to take a look at the Library events noticeboard - there are lots of fun activities happening! You can also pick up some lovely story books for the children while you are there - make sure you take a look at the wonderful Julia Donaldson book display!

Did you know Stony Stratford Library have a Knit and Natter group that meets from 1.30-3.30pm on the first and third Thursday each month.

Do you enjoy knitting, crochet, stitching or sewing? If so, come along to this friendly group - it's a place to share your ideas and love of crafts, learn new skills and make friends. Everyone is welcome whether you're a beginner or an expert - just bring along your project and start nattering! Admission is free.
