❀️ Weekly Wellbeing: Prioritise Self-Care

As a carer, it's easy to focus on everyone else's needs before your own. But your wellbeing matters too.

Take a few moments each day to do something you enjoy, whether that's reading a book, listening to music, enjoying a hobby, or simply taking time to rest.

πŸ’š Remember: caring for yourself isn't selfish, it's essential.

We're here for unpaid carers for the next five years

We're delighted to share that Gloucestershire County Council has awarded Gloucestershire Carers Hub a new contract, meaning we'll continue supporting unpaid carers across Gloucestershire from October 2026 for the next 5 years.

As a carer, you'll continue to have access to information, advice and guidance, Carer's Assessments, wellbeing support, contingency planning, and help to understand your rights and access financial support. We'll also continue delivering dedicated support for parent carers and young adult carers, alongside activities, groups and opportunities to connect with others who understand the caring role.

We'd like to thank every unpaid carer across Gloucestershire for the incredible contribution you make every day. Your care, compassion and dedication make a real difference to the lives of those you support and to communities across the county.

We're proud to continue working alongside you, ensuring carers are recognised, valued and supported for years to come.
