Join our Fundraisers this Saturday at Stonehaven Feein' Market. They will be in the Town Hall 10am to 4pm, serving teas and coffees with scones and cakes from 10am and made to order sandwiches at lunchtime.

Mrs Lindsay's dancers will be on the stage a couple of times during the morning and the local Art Club will have a display of paintings to purchase.

Stonehaven RNLI Fundraisers will have the Town Hall again at this year's Fee'in Market, 6th June. They will be serving teas, coffees and tasty treats 10am to 4pm, as well as selling RNLI merchandise.

There will be tables available for hire at a cost of a £40 to sell crafts and goods. It's a great spot with lots of people coming in for refreshments and to watch the demonstrations on the stage. And you're out of the unpredictable weather!

Join us at our Fundraisers Whisky/Gin Night in the British Legion on Friday 15th May at 7.30pm.

This event will be hosted by Fountainhall Wines and there will be 3 whiskies and 3 gins to taste.

Tickets are £20 but if any non whisky and gin drinkers wish to attend the ticket will cost £10. There will be a raffle on the night.

Our fundraisers would like to send huge thanks to Simon at The Ship Inn and his customers for their generosity. The contents of the charity bottle in The Ship Inn totalled £415.49!

Congratulations to Alan who passed out as Tier 1 boat crew volunteer this morning.

Alan said of this morning, 'Today was a great opportunity to put a full year of on-boat and home-based training into practice, including everything covered through the online portal.'

Outside of the RNLI, Alan is Head of Technology for a Scottish fintech and also runs a local business with his wife. With three children aged five and under, life is certainly busy. However, he says; 'The RNLI training structure has made learning achievable, manageable, and genuinely enjoyable'.

And he's not stopping there, 'I’m now looking forward to continuing my development and progressing towards Tier 2.'
