Early and Late Season - Saturday and Sunday - Open 1000 hours to 1800 hours. Peak Season - Saturday and Sunday - Open 1000 hours to 1800 hours. Early and Late Season - Monday to Friday - Open 1300 hours to 1930 hours. Peak Season - Monday to Friday - Open 1000 hours to 1930 hours. Quiet Swim -

(no pool toys, no unaccompanied children, no music) Early and Late Season 1000 - 1130 hours weekends and 1300 - 1400 hours weekdays, Peak Season 1000 - 1130 hours weekends and 1000 - 1130 weekdays. Public Swim - (slide, paddling pool and music for these family sessions) Early and Late Season 1130 - 1800 hours weekends, 1400 - 1800 hours weekdays, Peak Season 1130 hours to 1800 hours weekends, 1130 to 1800 hours weekdays. Lane Swim - weekdays - 1800 - 1930 hours. Last entry - 45 minutes before end of session. Midnight Swims (2200 hours until midnight) on Wednesdays 09 July to 13 August inclusive. Inflatable Obstacle Course (Swoopee) weekends and daily during Peak Season from 1300 hours to 1500 hours. Pool is open to all users during these sessions - but it will not be possible to swim lengths while the inflatable is on the water. Aqua Zumba with Shona - Early and Late Season Tuesday's 1400 - 1500 hours, Peak Season Tuesday's - 1130 hours to 1230 hours, and Entire Season Saturday's 1145 hours until 1245 hours. Please note that the pool is open to all users during these sessions. Live Music from the Bandstand on Saturday afternoons and Kid's Entertainment in the Green Room on Sunday afternoons. These enhancements are provided by volunteer group The Friends of Stonehaven Open are Pool and are included in your ticket price - no additional charge. Booking is no longer essential for day time activities but is advised if you are travelling a distance to get here. (Please be aware that not all tickets are pre-bookable so even if showing as all sold, there may still be tickets available to purchase at the door). BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL FOR MIDNIGHT SWIMS. You can only book up to 9 days ahead through the Live Life Aberdeenshire app or LLA website.

2025 all-day ticket prices: Early and Late Season - Adult £6.60, Peak Season - Adult - £10.00, Junior/Senior/Student - £4.00. Under 5's no charge. Family £27.10 (2+2 or 1+3). Spectators £6.60.

10 days to go until the doors open for the 2026 Summer Season. The flags are flying, the notice boards are up, and SEASON TICKETS are now on sale online or from the Stonehaven Leisure Centre.

The countdown begins!!! We are getting excited to be approaching our official opening day on Saturday 30 May. We hope you will be able to visit us this summer. We have so much for you to enjoy - the warm water, the chute, the paddling pool (we have lots of new toys for our youngest visitors), the inflatable obstacle course (the swoopee), the floats, the kids entertainment (Sunday afternoons), the live music (Saturday afternoons), the Aqua Zumba (Tuesdays and Saturdays), the midnight swims (Wednesdays in peak season), and the café. Full details will appear in the about section of our page soon. This season there will be NO BOOKING requirement (with the exception of midnight swims) - simply turn up and pay your entry fee at the door. Details of prices will be posted in the about section of our page soon.

The Friends of Stonehaven Heated Open Air Swimming Pool are so grateful to everyone who supported our 2 fundraisers this weekend. Our coffee morning on Saturday - our mascot Splasher popped in too - and our Aqua Zumba with Teas and an awesome raffle on Sunday, were both fantastic events. We need to say a special thank you to Zumba with Shona. Shona, we cannot wait to have you back with us on Tuesday's and Saturday's during our summer season.

What a winter at Stonehaven Open Air Pool! ❄️🏊‍♂️

As we gear up for Summer 2026, we’re celebrating an incredible 25/26 season. Cold water swimming hit new heights with more participation this year, and we loved seeing so many new faces and hearing about those amazing health benefits!. We would love to hear more feedback about the cold water swimming.
Winter Highlights:
🏆 Hosted our first-ever cold-water gala: The GB Ice Swimming Championships, welcoming athletes from 13 countries!
🌍Two of our regulars competed across the three of the 4-event European series hosted in Great Britain (Stonehaven), Netherlands, Germany and Austria and crushed the rankings:
🥇 Caitlin: 1st Female Overall
🥈 Brian: 2nd Male Overall

Brian says the pool provided a " For those taking part in ice swimming competitions it's obviously important to be able to train in cold water and gain acclimatisation. I used to get this by swimming in the sea and rivers but the Stonehaven sessions have provided a much better and safer option”. We are so proud to have the championships best training right here at Stonehaven Open Air Pool!

Huge congrats to Caitlin and Brian, and thanks to everyone who braved the chill.

Now—roll on summer 2026! ☀️

Summer season is coming. Only 2 months to wait until you will be able to enjoy our heated pool and sunny terraces 🤞. We are getting excited as we draw closer to opening day on 30th May.
