2352 - Stone Squadron Air Cadets Proud squadron of Royal Air Force Air Cadets - a national uniformed organisation for young people.

2352 (Stone) Squadron is part of the National 'Cadet Organization' which has 60,000 members in the UK. 2352 Squadron has around 25 cadets aged 12-19 years, who participate in many activities such as flying, gliding, camping, hiking, skiing, modelling, radio, sports and shooting. We foster a spirit of adventure and promote and encourage an interest in the RAF and aviation. Cadets go flying, do airc

raft-rec., learn drill and have regular contact with RAF personnel. We also offer skills and qualifications for life: DofE scheme, various BTECS, sports qualifications and first aid to name but a few.

A fantastic day at today’s carnival for 2352 Stone Air Cadets! 🇬🇧✈️

Our cadets proudly took part in the parade before running a stall showcasing the wide range of opportunities available through the RAF Air Cadets. From aviation and adventure training to leadership and teamwork, we were delighted to share what we do with the local community.

The day also served as a recruitment drive for both new cadets and adult volunteers, and we’re grateful to everyone who stopped by to chat and learn more about joining us.

Most importantly, our cadets represented the Squadron with professionalism, enthusiasm and pride throughout the day. They were a credit to 2352 Squadron and did us all proud.

Yesterday 6 of our cadets had the fantastic experience of going flying at No. 10 AEF based at RAF Woodvale. The unit flies the Grob Tutor T1 aircraft and cadets typically go up in the aircraft for around 40minutes at a time. Under the supervision of volunteer RAF pilots, cadets get hands-on control of the aircraft and can experience basic aerobatics.
