A huge well done to our four Reception children! ⭐

🌟 Gold Mark Award Achieved! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to announce that The Valley has been awarded the School Games GOLD Mark Award for 2025–26! 🏅

This prestigious award recognises our commitment to delivering high-quality PE, school sport and physical activity opportunities for all of our pupils throughout the year.

From sporting competitions and festivals to active playtimes, leadership opportunities and after-school clubs, our children have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, determination and outstanding sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to our pupils, staff, families and volunteers who have helped make this achievement possible. This award reflects the dedication of our whole school community and our belief that every child should have the opportunity to be active, healthy and successful.

We look forward to another exciting year of sport and physical activity at The Valley!

✨✨✨ Cheadle Carnival 2026 ✨✨✨

🐠 What a fabulous day we had on Saturday being part of the Cheadle Parade. Our theme was ‘Under the Sea’ and everyone looked amazing!!

🎨 Our float was decorated with amazing artwork created by the children and donations of decorations from our very kind families - thank you.

⭐ A HUGE thank you to our PTFA who made helped us bring the vision to life and stayed late on Friday night to decorate.

😃It was so lovely to see so many happy, smiling faces and being able to provide our children with this opportunity.

One last week of primary school,

You’ve learned to read, to write, to grow,

You’ve made great friends and memories too,

There may be nerves about what’s next,
A brand-new chapter waits ahead,
But carry all you’ve learned so far

So make this final week count well,
Smile, celebrate and have some fun,
Because although this chapter ends,
A new adventure is about to begin.

What a treat!🍦☀️

✨ After a very hot Sports Day and a busy morning of production rehearsals, we had the most wonderful surprise today!
Thanks to the kindness of Bella and Liv’s mum and dad, the ice cream van paid a special visit to school. Pulling up right on the playground, it was met with lots of excited smiles as everyone enjoyed a delicious selection of ice cream and lollies. 😋

It was the perfect way to cool down and the children absolutely loved it. 💓
