Early Years Stoke Welcome to Stoke on Trent Local Authority Early Years Quality Improvement Team. Here you will find lots of information related to early years.

The opening hours of the team are:
8-4pm, Monday to Friday.

As your children head back to school this week 🚸 you are encouraged to help protect them from the virus by signing the relevant consent forms.

The free NHS flu vaccine will be offered to all school children from reception to Year 11.👩‍⚕️

Flu vaccination will also be offered to:
▶️pregnant women
▶️young children aged two and three on 31st August 2026
▶️children aged six months to under 18 years in clinical risk groups
▶️young people aged 17 and over attending special educational needs schools who are in a clinical risk groups.

Vaccinations is the best protection against the virus and help keep children healthy, reduce school absences, support learning and protect family members🥵.

Children and young people who have missed vaccinations can attend community catch up clinics 👇

What changes do you need to tell Ofsted about?

Changes affecting your registration include your contact details, where you work and changes to registered individuals such as household members, directors or committee members.

You must always tell us about serious childcare incidents, allegations and events that may affect someone’s suitability to be provide childcare.[CR30.1].
