We were delighted to welcome the congregation of St John the Baptist & St Michael Manor Park & St Michael Manor Park yesterday for a walk round the Memorial Gardens and some refreshments afterwards. Come and visit us again!

We've been working hard to increase planting that is beneficial to pollinators.
Here is a gate keeper butterfly, one of many enjoying the Origanum along the drive.
If you're interested in finding out more, come along to the butterfly walk on Saturday 11-13.00. Paul Bowyer from Butterfly Conservation will take us on a walk off the beaten track to find more winged beauties. Free of charge!

Friday looks like a perfect day for a gentle stroll round the Memorial Gardens, a cup of tea and a piece of cake. Come and join us for our Pop Up Café between 10am and 12noon, help us raise funds for our Friends group who do amazing work to support the gardens and meet new people! The temperatures promise to be a balmy 30 degrees, which after the next couple of days will feel wonderfully cool! See you then!

It was a pleasure welcoming Councillor David Moore for the Farnhams & Stoke Poges to the gardens and updating him on some of our plans for this wonderful place. Thank you for your support!

Great meeting today despite the heat at the Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens chatting with Head Gardener Franzi, the team and the Friends of the Memorial Gardens.

I welcome the exciting plans that are underway for the Gardens with fresh funding from Buckinghamshire Council for a £450,000 open museum as well as refurbishment to the colonnades and other exciting plans which I look forward to supporting.

Not to mention we are now in the run up to the 100 year anniversary of the gardens after they turned 90 last year!

Huge thank you to Franzi, the team, residents and all the Friends of the Gardens who keep this special gem alive.

The fern croziers are unfurling. It must be spring!
Come and visit us this Sunday, 1-4.30pm for our National Gardens Scheme Open Day. There will be teas and cake, honey, cards and plant sale and most importantly, a beautiful garden to enjoy!
