Friends of Ropner Park is a volunteer-run, charity organisation which aims to improve the use and enjoyment of Ropner Park for the local community. FoRP not only runs the Cafe at Ropner Park, but also regular free events throughout the year, such as the Summer Sunday concerts on the bandstand, seasonal fairs, and family fun-days, complete with cake, tombola and bric-a-brac stalls, children's activ

We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to give up just a small amount of time each quarter to attend board meetings, or even just to help on stalls at events - every little helps! To become a member of FoRP, as a young member or an adult, please fill in this short application form and send to the attached address - we would love to see you.

As a lot of people are aware, we have been planning for an outside structure next to the cafe in Ropner Park for a few years now and have managed to raise some of the cost. We have now received the go ahead to purchase and erect the structure and we are hoping to do this by the end of this year, ready for the winter. We are continuing to raise funds through events held in the park but realise this will not be sufficient to reach our goal. We would, therefore, like to ask for your help and would be grateful for any donations towards the remaining balance. We hope you can see what a great addition to Ropner Park this would be not just for the cafe patrons but for our dog walkers and everyone who uses the park. We have created a GoFund me page for donations. Thank you.
