Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees

Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees We are the independent champion for people who use health and care services across Stockton. Healthwatch Stockton-on-Tees is a part of Healthwatch England.

We are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We listen to what people tell us about the services they use locally and want to know what is working well and what needs to be improved. Where necessary we have a statutory power to go into any health or social care premises to see at first hand the service being delivered. We can talk to patients/carers and to st

aff members to gather more information. We share the information we gather with those who have the power to make change happen. We also help people find the information they need about services in their area.

Our engagement team received a very warm welcome from the ladies and gents at the Wolviston Warm Welcome group yesterday, including Pepsi the dog 🐢.

The group were able to share their experiences of local health and care services with Jan and Lynn.

Thank you to Wolviston Village Community Centre and the staff for their hospitality.

We use your views to raise concerns with the people running NHS and care services to make care better.

Teesside Together is committed to empowering people to take control of their sexual health.

It has launched a four-week pilot of dedicated clinics for children and young people.

Children and young people are often more likely to engage in risky sexual behaviours, so it wants to make sure that they have support available to encourage them to make safer choices.
