Housekeeping Assistant/All Rounder
We are looking for a friendly, polite person with a positive attitude and proactive approach to join our small dynamic team. This is a family home so the ideal candidate would be child and pet friendly. It is a job with quieter periods that build to busier times (during school holidays) where there are more hours available to work, so this is an excellent role for an energetic, can-do person.
The ideal candidate will be keen to learn new skills, develop their existing skills and knowledge, as well as take instruction and be guided by the more senior team members.
Duties include:
Kitchen duties: emptying and filling dishwashers, pot washing, emptying rubbish bins and recycling, setting tables, serving at dinner, assisting with veg prep.
Assisting to set up, serve and clear fr Alfresco dining.
Cleaning silver, care of antique and fine furnishings.
Housekeeping: Turnaround, stripping beds, remaking beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, hoovering.
Laundry: All aspects of laundry & ironing - care of specialist items. Wardrobe care.

Yesterday we said a fond farewell to our Conservation Manager Alan Edwards as he starts his well deserved retirement. Alan has worked for the Estate for 14 years. In 2017 the Estate lead by Alan, won the Gold Purdy award for Game & Conservation. He has now passed the reigns over to our new Conservation Manager Albert, to carry on his hard work. Alan is now going to take a well deserved holiday and enjoy a much needed rest. As he said yesterday, the estate has had a lot of his time, and now its time his family enjoy time with him.
