Stockport Sea Cadets Unit We are Stockport Sea Cadets. Developing children from the age of 10 up to 18 years old and giving them the best head start in life!

The Sea Cadet Corps offers many activities for cadets. All activities give the chance to achieve qualifications or awards. Some of these qualifications and awards are from external bodies, like the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) or the British Canoe Union (BCU). Where there aren’t any external bodies we train to a structured scheme based on Royal Navy standards. This is the case for Marine Engineering, Seamanship, Communications, Cook Steward and Meteorology.

We are celebrating over a century of serving the Stockport community, empowering local young people through nautical adventure, teamwork, and leadership skills. To make our 110th-anniversary celebration truly unforgettable, we are looking to partner with local businesses!

Sponsoring our milestone event is a great way to show your support for Stockport’s youth while putting your brand in front of hundreds of local families, community members, and supporters.

**Ways you can get involved:**

* **Event Sponsorship:** Help cover event costs in exchange for prominent branding on our promotional materials and event banner.

💥 1. Bonfire Display

🍔 Details: Food & drink provided!
🎟️ Prices:

• Cadets: Covered by Subs
• Siblings: £2
• Adults: £4

🛍️ 2. Christmas Market fundraiser.
📅 Date: Saturday, 12th December
⏰ Time: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
🎄 Details: Come along for stalls, food, drink, tombolas, games, and a raffle!

🎶 3. Christmas Carols & Awards Evening
📅 Date: Tuesday, 15th December
⏰ Time: 7:15 PM
🏆 Details: Presented by the CO, Staff & UMT as we celebrate our cadets' achievements with a festive evening!
