Fantastic to welcome a huge array of colleagues and partners together at our Staff Health and Wellbeing today which was a great success.

A huge array of physical and mental health and wellbeing advice was available, as well as hand massages, sound baths and pain relief sessions – and a friendly support dog too!

Partners present included Healthy Stockport, Life Leisure, Living Nature, The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, Armed Forces Reserve, trade unions Unison, Unite and RCN, and the trust’s own Stockport NHS Charity.

Advice was available on physical & mental health, exercise, menopause support, staff benefits and rights, equality and diversity, staff networks, library services, improving our environment, quitting smoking, reducing drinking, psychological support and more.

The CardMedic system which has enhanced our patient translation services has been shortlisted in two separate categories at the Picker Experience Awards,which recognise the best standards in patient experience and care.
