Today, we mark a truly significant moment for the Board as we celebrate the much deserved retirement of two esteemed colleagues, who have made a long lasting impact on our organisation and the wider Internal Drainage Board sector as a whole.
After more than 30 years of dedicated service in the sector, including the last five as Chief Executive to the Bedford Group, Phil Camamile steps into retirement leaving behind a legacy of leadership, commitment, and meaningful progress. His guidance has helped shape the direction of the Board, and his influence will be felt for many years to come.
We also say farewell to Trevor Skelding, our Principal Engineer, who has been an integral part of the Board since 2002. His expertise, professionalism, and dedication have been pivotal in the day to day running of the Board, earning him the respect and appreciation of both colleagues and partners.
Both Phil and Trevor have given so much to the organisation, and it is with sincere gratitude that we thank them for their years of service.
On behalf of everyone at the Board, we wish them both a long, happy, and well deserved retirement. May this next chapter be filled with relaxation, new opportunities, and time to enjoy all the things that matter most.
