The next in our series of the 80 years of the New Town walks is on Wednesday 9 September, Old and New (Bragbury End), 10am-12noon covering the Hertford Road area.

The walks, expertly guided by history expert Simon Speller, offer you the chance to uncover hidden stories, fascinating facts and the places that helped shaped Britain's first New Town.

Hertfordshire residents aged 40–64 who are not currently active are invited to take part in a local focus group. We want to understand your experiences, challenges and ideas so we can develop activities and support that work for local communities.

As a thank you for your time, participants will receive a £10 shopping voucher, plus refreshments.
